Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") lists what you may not do with front/q. It is part of our Terms of Service.

We may update this AUP by posting a new version here. If you keep using the Services after that, the new version applies.

If you become aware of a breach of this AUP, please tell us at [email protected]. We will investigate and act, which may include removing content, suspending accounts or ending access.

What you may not do

Illegal or harmful activity

• Break any law or regulation, including data protection, export control and sanctions law
• Help or promote illegal activity, fraud or deception
• Infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of others
• Distribute malware or other harmful code
• Use the Services for phishing, social engineering or identity theft

Misuse of supplier data

• Collect personal data from suppliers, or about the people named in supplier answers, without a legal basis
• Ask for special categories of personal data, or data about criminal offences, unless the law allows you to process it
• Make decisions about individuals that have legal or similarly significant effects based only on automated results from the Services, such as a sanctions match or an AI suggestion
• Use the supplier portal or front/q email to send suppliers unsolicited marketing or bulk messages
• Present screening, research or AI results to others as verified facts or as legal advice

System abuse

• Try to get unauthorised access to the Services, other accounts, or connected systems or networks
• Probe, scan or test the Services for vulnerabilities without our written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, servers or networks
• Use bots, scrapers or crawlers to access the Services, except through the API
• Get around rate limits, access controls or usage limits

Content

• Upload or send content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing or defamatory
• Pretend to be another person or company, or misstate your connection to one
• Share someone else's personal data without a legal basis

Data and the Services

• Try to reverse engineer or decompile the Services, or extract data beyond normal use or the API
• Resell or sublicense access to the Services without our written permission
• Use the Services, or data from them, to build a competing product

Consequences

A breach of this AUP may lead to:

• removal of the offending content
• temporary suspension of the account
• termination of the account
• reporting to the authorities, where the law requires it

We will try to tell you before we act, unless the breach puts the Services, other customers or third parties at immediate risk.
